Rechte streep na een helix

Hallo allemaal,

Ik heb de vraag wel eens eerder gesteld maar (nog) geen bevredigend antwoordt gezien.
Het probleem is dat ik een pocket maak, de frees gaat eerst met een helix naar beneden, maar als hij dan op het laagste punt is trekt hij een rechte lijn van ongeveer 1 cm.
Een 4mm frees die 15mm diep zit en de machine op volle snelheid kan daar niet tegen! Je krijgt dan een heel kort freesje en ja, dat is weer niet diep genoeg :lol:

Nu kan ik natuurlijk kiezen voor een adaptive toolpath maar die trekt niet van die mooie rechte lijnen. (kan ik wel weer oplossen met een contour natuurlijk)

Mijn vraag is of er een instelling is waar die rechte lijn mee aangestuurd wordt?? Ik heb al van alles geprobeerd maar kom niet tot de oplossing. (Misschien is die er ook gewoon niet.)

gaat ook in 3d pocket clearing

Zo te zien maak je gebruik van HSM, inventor of ....?

Na het frezen van de helix en vervolgens de gehele binnen diameter van het gat gaat idd de frees omhoog.
Er is niets waar de frees tegen aan loopt waardoor de frees breekt.

Heb je een filmpje waarin het gebeurt zodat we kunnen kijken wat er precies gebeurt waardoor de frezen breken?

Heb vandaag op dezelfde manier wat gaten gefreesd maar geen last gehad, frees 6mm diepte 28mm @ 240mm/min.

Ik heb vandaag ook nog diepe 2D pockets gefreesd, gegenereerd met CAM360. Geen last van gehad.

Hoort die ene centimeter bij je pocket? Dan doet-ie volgens mij wat je ervan vraagt.
Zet je geen 'multiple depths' aan, dan freest een 2D pocket of contour direct op de aangegeven diepte (meestal de chain die je aangeklikt hebt). Als je dat niet wil, dan moet je die multiple depths aanzetten.
De belangrijkste wet in de wetenschap: 'hoe minder efficient en hoe meer herrie, hoe leuker het is'

Of ramping zonder opmaat met een contour functie
Loopt hij boven het produkt met een g41 in een spiraal aan dus ook nog controleerbaar op diameter

Denk dat je de strategie moet kiezen bij de vorm van de pocket:
• Als je een vierkante of ronde pocket hebt kan een helix wel. Stepover laag instellen en vanaf de bodem zal een vierkant of rond pad gekozen worden.
• Bij een rechthoekige kamer is een zigzag beter.
• Andere vormen in meerdere lagen.
Geduld is een schone zaak, frezen niet...

Heb je een filmpje waarin het gebeurt zodat we kunnen kijken wat er precies gebeurt waardoor de frezen breken?
Ik zal zo even een filmpje erbij zetten.
Andere vormen in meerdere lagen
Dat kan natuurlijk wel maar dat kost wel heel veel tijd.

Ik heb bij andere vormen gezien dat de rechte lijn groter is. Volgens mij staat dit in relatie tot de oorspronkelijke vorm.

Dit lijkt zoals Dabit al zegt toch te maken te hebben met het 'multiple depths' verhaal? Je frees gaat de volledige diepte naar beneden met een helix (op het laatste tabblad in fusion 360 kun je dat volgens mij veranderen in plunge, of wat je wil) en daarna begint hij de daadwerkelijke pocket te frezen. Je portaal trekt dat waarschijnlijk vrij eenvoudig maar je freesje is daar inderdaad veel te dun voor. Dus, vink multiple depths aan, stel deze in op een mm per keer en dan zou het geen probleem meer moeten zijn lijkt me?

Het ziet er inderdaad uit dat Fusion precies doet wat je ervan vraagt. Een niet-adaptive 2D pocket frezen op de gekozen diepte met een helix als lead-in.

Als je dat niet wil, dan moet je spelen met de multiple depths (2D pocket), morphed spiral machining (2D pocket) of een 2D/3D adaptive clearing met kleine radiale stock to leave gevolgd door een contour op de volle diepte.

Ik begin trouwens vaker wel dan niet met een 3D adaptive clearing met een kleine radiale stock to leave om vlot overtollig materiaal weg te werken. Die 3D adaptive clearing werkt behoorlijk automatisch, al moet je 'm soms toch wel wat overtuigen om niet teveel lucht te frezen.
Daarna werk ik 'mechanische delen' af met 2D pockets, 2D contour, 2D trace, 2D circular of 3D horizontal operaties.

Voor gekromde delen pak ik voor het afwerken een zo groot mogelijke bolkop en 3D operaties.
De belangrijkste wet in de wetenschap: 'hoe minder efficient en hoe meer herrie, hoe leuker het is'

Heren, dank jullie wel voor de duidelijke uitleg. Ik denk dat mijn strategie dan ook adaptive zal gaan worden. Daar kun je de machine op vol gas zetten en werkt het goed.

Ik heb niet zoveel ervaring met die problematiek, maar ik zie een helix naar beneden, dan een lijntje vol het materiaal in, en dan lijkt het er op dat ie de contour adaptief gaat schillen, daar laat ie dan toch voor mijn gevoel een steekje vallen in de strategie. Want dat adaptief had ie vanuit dat cirkeltje kunnen beginnen.
Ik ben voor meer techniek op school, maar dan wel vanaf groep 1 basischool.
