Looking forward to your next upload. I can't seem to find time to upload many movies. I know it's a lot of work to put the movies together.
Creating radiators for my SV650-to-allroad conversion project out of old car heater radiators was the first time I tried aluminium welding. I don't even have a 'real' AC welder, just a DC TIG with a few modifications.
It was hard. That dirty and thin aluminium does not make a very good first aluminium welding project. I managed to make holes, I spewed droplets of aluminium around, but in the end it worked out quite well.
And then the distribution piping. I thought I had done the hardest part, but welding round pipes with small diameter turned out to be not so easy either. Mind you, I still had only a quarter of a bottle or argon experience welding aluminium.
It did work out well though.
Brings back good memories. Thanks for that!
