Anyway, the question was "Can i make a Physical Button to "reset" the machine, and is there a way to write a macro to handle that button?

I think it is a good idea to tell us what version of EdingCNC you are using, and what you want to achieve with said button:

as you can see, there is a "reset" subroutine in the MacroFile, it is "commented out" in mine, as i don't have any other functions in there
But you can put any function in there if so desired..

Sorry, maar als ik die code lees, zie ik alleen een routine die de boodschap Ready for operation weergeeft via standaard IO.

Ik zie geen 'reset' functionaliteit aangeroepen worden.
Zoals een 'short to ground' bijvoorbeeld zou triggeren

al is het een G00G53Z0 (als je Machine Z0 boven ligt.. )
heb je een IO kaart eraan hangen.. dan kun je zelfs een belletje ergens anders af laten gaan als er op de Reset gedrukt wordt..

Met een io kaart kan je zelfs je koffiepot aanzetten.

Je kan nog veel meer leuke dingen met een IO kaart aan en en uit zetten.
En met G Code kan je ook hele andere dingen laten bewegen

Zoals de TS later heeft aangegeven gaat het niet om de "reset" button. Volgens mij gaat het om de "machine on" button die gebruikt wordt i.c.m. een safety relais zoals wordt beschreven op pagina 61-63 van de manual (Document Release 4.03)
Zelf ben ik hier eigenlijk ook naar opzoek.
