Hello!
By the way ChatGPT tried to help me with the translation. :)
Regards
Christer

Re: Problemen met coördinatenkalibratie in EdingCNC 5.0 met B-as als slave
Hi Christe;
You mention a B axis, but do you mean an A axis parallel to the Y? That's the way eding should be configured to my best of knowledge.
Did you checked G10L20 zeroing in the settings menu?
ChatGTP is starting to make some sense every now and then.
If you mention 'callibrate coordinates from G54 till 59', you mean zeroing the workpiece-coordinates? You van choose any of the axis separate that you want to set to zero.

If B is a Slave of Y, there is no need to separtely Zero it..

Aaarh, You mean a tandem slave! got it, Read the instructions, you need to rule out the B axis from homing. (it's also written in both the manual and the macro if memory serves well). Just don't list the slave axis to the DRO, it makes no sense either in my opinion. I'm also using a slave axis, and you can't home or zero it separately. If it's a slave of Y; it's just a secondary port for a slave axis, the Y is the so called master. Only need to home and zero that Y axis. The slave follows.

Re: Problemen met coördinatenkalibratie in EdingCNC 5.0 met B-as als slave
Its hard to explaine.
I attach a image.
When I push for exemple (calibrate) G57 it should give command:
G10L20 P4X0Y0Z0
tO define the G57 offset.
But the software give the commande G10L20 P4X0Y0Z0B0 because I use the B-axsis for Y slave. (a-axsis is reserved for rotary)
With the B0 in the end
By the way I have the EdingCNC760.
Everything else is just fine with the Y slave and zeroing. Just problem with the calibration of the offsets.
Is it a bug or setting? I think the 5.0 software is Relese Candidate.

I Hate to say this..But Install V4.. V5 isn't at all ready.. i have been using EdingCNC since V2, the first with the new interface .
Funny thing..i've been working with EdingCNC since 2008, but i've neverever used that page of the Control.. i just set every Coordinate in G54, since i have no Fixed vices on my machine.. and if i had, i'd put the offsets in my program if i'd need it another time..
